Danielle and I went to visit a historic stately home that is within an hour from the base called Houghton Hall. It was built in the 1720's and has some very unusual interior design. We also enjoyed a beautiful garden which included a rose garden, vegetable garden, fruit orchard, and herb garden. A very enjoyable day!
